EPS Electric Power Systems was established in 2009. The company has gained experience working with customers located in Poland, Germany, Italy and Greece.

EPS Electric Power Systems cooperates with worldwide providers of high-end technologies. The group of its partners consists of top European and worldwide brands, like SIEMENS, DEHN, MITSUBISHI, SMA, ABB, POWERONE, WEIDMUHLER, HELUKABEL and many others.

Wind turbine energy - HAWT

Own wind turbine is a huge savings

Each of the customers can choose the optimal solution suitable for their purpose. There are a few HAWT wind generators in the offer of EPS with the capacity of: 10 kW, 20 kW, 50 kW, 70 kW and 100kW. The key issue is to select a suitable wind generator power, which would work in the specific customer location, thus ensuring adequate energy production and fastest return on investment. EPS always assists the customers with professional advice on individual solutions.

Wind turbines provided by EPS are equiped in multiple protection measures, including hydraulic brakes, advanced generator temperature management systems, wind conditions monitoring and constant 24h remote GSM wind turbine operation control.

Wind turbines are usually installed on hydraulic towers. This method cuts time and cost during installation process and later in maintenance works, since it does not require from owners to rent costly service of cranes and aearial platforms.

Waste-to-Energy solutions - W2E

In pyrolysis processing

The offered W2E solution is operating at about 450 degrees Celsius with a modified pyrolysis and gasification process, where the process heat is generated by controlled understoichiometric supply of air in the carbonization process. All carbonaceous materials are converted into gas and coke.

  • Unique pyrolysis technology converts all kinds of waste with minimal emissions and CO2 into electricity and heat
  • Reduces utilization of new landfill or demounts closed landfill installations and gradually recovers filthy land
  • High efficiency qualifies as R1 category under EU Waste Directive (annex II), R1 technologies freed from EU approval - only local permitting
  • Flexibility of location: either stand-alone or on-site of new and/or old landfill installations

Wind and PV inverters

High efficiency with

Devices offered by EPS use high-tech components including Mitsubishi IGBT drivers as the power components. Operation control of the device is based on American ATEMEL microprocessors. The device offers wind turbine output power real-time tracing with MPPT technology. The security measures implemented in devices include disturbance detection technology, anti-island control, surge protection and many others. The output is pure sine wave with automatic synchronization to connected public grid. Inverters do not pollute the power of the grid without negative impact on power quality.

Devices comply to the requirements of German VDE-AR-N 4105 grid standards.

Protection solutions

Solutions for energy supply

DEHN provides comprehensive solutions in the field of surge protection, lightning protection/earthing and safety equipment for many industries. As an industry expert for power distribution grids, DEHN offers special protection solutions ranging from power generation to power distribution with a focus on PV systems and wind turbines.

DEHN surge elements offers hybrid protection using combined varistor and spark gap technology. The safty of the products is approved by German VDS certificates.

(1) Renewable energy sources

30kW wind turbine installation

30kW wind generator was installed in on-grid mode. Installation was done for a SME customer in Germany, Saxony. The system provides energy for the appliences used by the SME and the surplus of energy is fed into public electric network. 30kW wind turbine was placed on an 18m free stand tower. The wind power plant uses a 3-phase 400VAC 30kW on-grid inverter and a Siemens PLC controller.

The systems provides ca. 60% of energy consumed by the SME. Thanks to the installation the customer was able to reduce significantly its annual energy cost.

  • system delivery
  • wind turbine installation and full electrical installation

(2) Renewable energy sources

10kW wind turbine installation

10kW wind generator was installed in on-grid mode. Installation was done for a SME customer in Germany, Bayern. The system provides energy for the electric heating system used by the SME and the surplus of energy is fed into public electric network. 10kW wind turbine was placed on an 18m free stand tower. The wind power plant uses a 3-phase 400VAC 10kW on-grid inverter and a Siemens PLC controller.

The systems provides ca. 40% of energy consumed by the SME for the purpose of heating. Thanks to the installation the customer was able to reduce significantly its annual cost of heating.

(3) Renewable energy sources

5kW wind turbine installation

Installation of 5kW wind turbine

5kW wind generator was installed in on-grid mode. Installation was done for a SME customer in Germany, Lower-Saxony. The system provides energy for the office appliances used by the SME and the surplus of energy is fed into public electric network. 5kW wind turbine was placed on an 13m free stand hydraulic tower. The wind power plant uses a 1-phase 230VAC 5kW on-grid inverter and a Siemens PLC controller.
